A total of 943 Harvard and Radcliffe students have signed the Liberal Union's petition condemning the NDEA disclaimer affidavit. Canvassing is still in progress.
The Union will send the completed petition to Senators Joseph S. Clark '23 and John F. Kennedy '40, urging them to intensify their opposition to the disclaimer. It will also dispatch questionnaires to other eastern colleges.
The petition has been most successful in Quincy House, where 120 students have signed. The 261 Radcliffe signatures represent the opinion of over a fifth of the college.
