The Harvard Motor Sports Car Club, making every effort count, won the Boston Motor Sports Club Hillclimb at Mt. Belknap, N.H., last weekend. Of four HMSC entries in the five-team rally, three took firsts-in-their-class, and one placed third-in-class.

Peter L. V. Hutchinson '63, driving an Austin-Healey Sprite, managed a very close win over a Fiat Abarth 750 by the slim margin of eight hundredths of a second. Safely winning the next class by a solid four seconds was HMSC President Peter G. Sachs '61, in his Porsche Coupe. J. Grey Jones '61 took third in the same event with an MGA 1600.

The other Club entry, a Volkswagen driven by William E. Weir '61, romped to an easy win in the small car class, finishing a good 12 seconds over the second place winner.

Next on the HMSC calendar is a Gymkhana with the Babson Institute Club Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24, on the Babson campus in Wellesley.
