Theodore Chase '34 has been named chief marshal for his class, which will celebrate its 25th reunion next June. The announcement was made on Friday by Lawrence Pool '28, president of the Alumni Association.

Chase is a partner in the Boston law firm of Palmer, Dodge, Gardner, and Bradford. A resident of Dover, Mass., he has been a chairman of the Board of Selectmen in that town, and has been active in a number of charity enterprises.

He was director of the Harvard Cooperative Society and served as class agent from 1934 to 1939.

The chief marshal's duties center around the alumni ceremonies of the Thursday afternoon preceding commencement. He traditionally makes the official presentation to the University of the 25th Reunion class gift.
