Lowell, Alfred Deliver Readings in Sanders

The first in a series of two poetry readings was presented last night in Sanders Theatre as William Alfred and Robert Lowell read selections from their works.

Alfred, an assistant professor of English, read the prologue and first act of his unpublished verse play, Hogan's Ghost.

Next Thursday, the final public reading will be delivered by John Crowe Ransome at 8:30 p.m. in Sanders.
