The HSA yesterday elected Theodore H. Elliott '57-4 president. Guido DiMeo '60 was re-named treasurer, and Carl Pescosolido '59 was elected clerk.
Re-elected to the Board of Directors were John M. Bullitt '43, Master of Quincy House; Warren S. Berg '44; Richard G. Dale '52; Harold Rosenwald '27 Stephen L. Singer 1GB; and Dean Robert B. Watson '37. Rolf Goetze '59 and Charles M. Olin '59 were also named to the board.
Following the election, the new Board of Directors held a formal meeting. Plans for next year, however, will be discussed sometime in June.
One matter which will soon come up before the board for consideration is the possibility of securing a truck for HSA use next fall. Among projected agencies which would use an HSA truck is a plan for selling and delivering firewood to the Houses, and moving furniture and refrigerators to Harvard rooms.
The HSA must also discuss several agencies which are now tentatively being formed. A Sampler Agency plans to sell discount coupons in the fall, and the possibility of an HSA Calendar, an HSA Photo Agency, and a newspaper agency are also being considered.
