Cambridge police continued their campaign against parking violators, ticketing 327 cars on the third night of their drive, bringing the total to 893. Chief Richard J. Linehan warned drivers to "put them over in their own lot."
The only action taken thus far by Dean Leighton was to make surveys of crowded streets, and, if any students were involved in the violation, to send them letters asking their cooperation.
