Kirkland House Wins Cross Country Race

The Kirkland House cross-country team proved that it did not need an Act of God to win the House meet. In a re-run of November fifth's fiasco, in which a deceptively closed Soldier's Field Gate handicapped one-quarter of the runners, Kirkland again finished first.

Herb Parsons of Lowell took first among the individual runners. Dunster, which was second in the November fifth race, dropped to third place, finishing behind Winthrop in team scoring.
