'Radcliffe News' Fails To Publish 2nd Issue

Although the Radcliffe News did not appear on its usual weekly publication date last night, Viola G. Papps '59, editor, said, "We will publish next Thursday."

"We told the deans and our subscribers that we would not publish this Thursday because we were busy collecting money for subscriptions all week," she said. Miss Papps predicted that the next issue would state whether the News can continue functioning without compulsory subscriptions, abolished in a student referendum last spring.
