Yesterday's soccer game between the varsity and Tufts was called off by the coaches late in the morning after a solid rain had turned the field into a mire. The game was rescheduled for this afternoon at 3 p.m.
"It's just as well it was called off," Crimson coach Bruce Munro commented last night, "as it would have been a miserable game." Munro still plans to keep his injured players on the bench as a wet his injured players on the bench.
He added that one of the drawbacks of the cancellation was that it would keep the varsity from practicing today and limit them to a light drill at Cornell.
