'Yardling' to Appear End of Coming Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Yardling, traditional newspaper of the Freshman class, will make its first appearance "Friday or Saturday," Peter J. Bloom '61 of the Yearbook Publications said yesterday.

Printed in magazine form, the publications will have a semi-glossy cover and mimeographed pages. Financed by a $12 grant from the Freshman Union Committee and advertising receipts, the newspaper was organized with the help of Yearbook Publications. About 30 Freshmen are on the staff.

The Yardling published only infrequently last year due to lack of advertising.
