Texas A & M Considers Erdelatz

COLLEGE STATION, Tex., Jan. 13--Navy coach Eddie Erdelatz fiew here today for conferences with Texas A&M officials about the job of athletic director and head football coach.

Erdelatz was accompanied by three of his assistants at Navy--Steve Belichick, Wayne Hardin and Ernie Jorge.

College officials gave no hint on whether Erdelatz would be named. They did say he would meet reporters at a news conference later this afternoon.

Erdelatz, during a brief stop in Dallas said he had not been offered the A&M job at that time.
