Cronin Says His Pub Won't Move to Square

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Jim Cronin said last night that his new pub will not be on Harvard Square. The rents on the Square are too high, he explained.

The proprietor of Jim's Place said that the most important requisite for the local establishment's new quarters is that it must have "excellent egress in case of emergency.

"Right now we're not worried about relocation," Cronin said. "The University has promised us two years' notification, and we haven't received notice to move yet."
