The varsity yachtsmen were shut out, 3-0, by M.I.T. in a two-team regatta held yesterday in the Charles River Basin.

The Crimson dropped all three team-races to a squad it defeated soundly only last Saturday. Skippers of the six Harvard entries were Hanson Robbins, John Deknatel, Sam Gray, Eric Franck, John Weske, and Pete McCormick.

Next on the schedule is the Eastern Dinghy Championships, to be held this weekend at the Coast Guard Academy in New London. Deknatel and Tom Townsend will skipper the two varsity boats entered in the championships. The Crimson won the meet last year.
