Twenty secondary school science teachers from 10 states will participate in the second annual course in radiation biology at the Medical School this summer.
The course will be titled "Principles of Radioactive Measurements." It is offered under the joint sponsorship of the AEC and the National Science Foundation.
The eight-week course is offered at no expense to the students. The Harvard program is part of a national effort to increase both the understanding and appreciation among secondary school science teachers of the tremendous advances made possible through nuclear physics.
