Several Harvard students were among the more than 6000 voluteers fighting forest fires in Plymouth and other parts of Massachusetts yesterday. Governor Furcolo has called for more volunteers to assist in the fire-fighting.
The governor declared a state of emergency Wednesday night after the fire broke out in the Miles Standish State Forest.
