A head-on collision on the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Saturday caused the death of Ensign Richard A. Lionette, USNR, '53. Lionette, who was 27, was the captain and star of Harvard's 1953 basketball team.
The accident occurred while he was driving his car home from San Francisco where he had entered on inactive duty after a two-year tour in Japan and the Pacific.
