Matthews South easily trounced Matthews North in a playoff for the freshman intramural volleyball championship yesterday. The game scores were 15-6 and 15-12.

Brad Pohlig and Doug McCartney were all over the court and controlled the nets handily for Matthews South. For North, Dave Scott was one of the few bright lights in the decisive loss.
