The Crimson fencing squad, which finished in an official tie for third place in the Ivy League, has placed two men on the all-Ivy first team. Dave Silbert and Doug Runnels, both sabre fencers, were selected by the coaches.
The varsity sabre team, led by both men with 10-5 records, was tops in the league, with a 29-16 overall total. The season records of Silbert and Runnels gave them a three-way tie for individual Ivy sabre honors.
