Rifle Team Comes In Second to Penn

The varsity rifle team, in its first home match last Saturday, placed second in a triangle meet against Pennsylvania and the University of Rhode Island. Penn won with a score of 1383, followed by the Crimson's 1376 and Rhode Island's 1324.

Lance Fair led the home team with a 283, his highest to date. Following him were John Liebeskind and Captain Dick Lipman, both with 276.

The pistol team won a partial victory in dual matches with both M.I.T. and Brown at the M.I.T. range Saturday. The Crimson total of 1274 topped Brown's 1225 but was one point less than the M.I.T. score of 1275.
