Pre-game speculation about a possible upset in THE GAME did not fool Leighton Shields, Jr. 7G and five other winners of the CRIMSON'S Football Forecast Contest. Shields picked Yale to win 55-0, and came within 16 yards of predicting the Elis' exact total yardage.
Equally pessimistic--and, unfortunately, accurate--was Anthony S. Conrad '61, who also came within one point of guessing the final score.
Other winners were Irving McA. Destler '61, Peter F. Salomon '60, Henry S. Berman '61--a winner in the Princeton game contest--and C. Gardner Mallonee II '58.
