No CRIMSON Extra; Daily's Spirit Blamed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The tradition of putting out an extra following the Harvard-Yale game has long been part of the CRIMSON's news philosophy. But this year the Crime has decided to abandon the tradition, since the Yale Daily News has declined in recent years to offer any journalistic competition in this area.

The CRIMSON has learned, however, that if printing arrangements can be completed, the "Best Frat on York St." Will, lo and behold, publish an extra this afternoon. Such an effort will of itself be laudable, and made even more so by the that the Yalie Dailie editors, droll chaps that they are, plan to make this extra a parody of the CRIMSON.

Crimeds await the publication of this amusing effort with considerable anticipation and urge one and all to be similarly on the look-out. It should be good for a few laughs, but actually, if we know the News, the plan will fall through at the last minute, and we'll have to be content, with the usual, dry Yalie Dailie fare.
