Dunster House dominated the Intramural League this fall by winning the House football championship and taking second in the soccer league. As House football titlists, the Dunster squad will play Trumbull College, the Yale champions, at 2 p.m. today in New Haven.

The Funster football team was the only undefeated team in House sports this fall, posting a record of seven wins and no losses.

The Eliot House soccer team recovered from an opening game setback and then powered its way to the league title with 12 straight victories. The Elephants' winning skein included a string of ten consecutive shutouts.

The House football league ultimately proved a two team league, as Dunster and second place Kirkland far outdistanced the other six teams. The Deacons compiled a 6-1 record, suffering their only setback to Dunster. Winthrop and Adams, tied for third place with identical 3-3-1 records, were three full games behind Kirkland.

The Dunster offense, which averaged over three touchdowns a game, was paced by the league's high-scorer Bruce Johnson. Johnson, a halfback, provided the individual highlight of the season when he scored three touchdowns in each of two consecutive games.

In the Soccer League, Eliot completely stole the show. They took the league lead in their third game and never relinquished it. Today, they take their 12-1-1 championship record to New Haven to meet the Yale soccer champs, Pierson College.

Both offensively and defensively, Eliot was superior to any other team in the league. Jaime Gutierrez and Charles Polletti developed into scoring threats from their forward positions. A fine defensive halfback line of Mike Kohler, Tom Gleason and John Harberson was backed up by the Elephants' impermeable Final House Football Standings   W  L  T  Yale Opponent Dunster  7  0  0  Trumbull Kirkland  6  1  0  Calhoun Winthrop  3  3  1  Davenport Adams  3  3  1  Silliman Leverett  3  4  0  Timothy Dwight Dudley  2  5  0  Berkeley Eliot  1  5  1  Jonathan Edwards Lowell  1  6  0  Pierson
