The Student Council last night voted to accept and endorse the recent Council committee report on the Tutorial system.

The 27-page report analyzes the achievements of the Tutorial system and concludes with a list of 11 recommendations for improvement. The Council will present the report with the recommendations to Dean Bundy and the Committee on Educational Policy this Wednesday.

The Student Council Committee, headed by Gordon Sugarman '58, has been working on the report since last year, collecting information from student polls, tutors, and professors. The Committee's suggestions include recommendations that Tutorial assume a larger role, that measures be taken to secure adequate attendance and acceptable performance of tutees,

Also passed at last night's meeting was a recommendation that the number of P.T. credits required of freshmen be reduced in the case of students working on regular jobs nine hours a week.
