The varsity squash team shut out a weak M.I.T. team 5 to 0 yesterday to even its Metropolitan League record at one victory and one defeat. Larry Sears, playing in the top position, was the only man to lose a game, as he outfought Tech's Holt 15-12, 7-15, 18-14, 14-18, 18-15.
Charlie Hamm, Henry Cortesi, Gerry Emmet and John Davis all won their matches in three games. Cortesi, the third man, looked particularly impressive, winning 15-6, 15-4, 15-5.
