If the current negotiations for a new dining hall contract result in a strike, a sizable portion of the University is going to be elated. For the more liberal elements in the Houses it could go a long way toward making the year worthwhile. Not only will they be able to see the University publicly embarrassed by labor troubles, but they may be able to get off board, a windfall of no small importance.
