The varsity golf team participated in its second triangular match of the season yesterday, this time with considerably more success. The varsity eliminated Babson and M.I.T., 6 to 1 and 7 to 0, respectively.
The Babson match, however, was more difficult than the lop-sided score indicates, for two of the varsity's victories did not come until the nineteenth hole, while a third, Jim Bailey's, was not decided until the twentieth. Bill McAllister and Captain Bob Ornsteen, at one and two, had the delayed wins against Babson, but handled their M.I.T. opponents with more dispatch.
