Committee Names 49 Juniors to Be Honorary Ushers

The Senior Class Day Committee announced yesterday the 49 honorary ushers from the Junior class for commencement this June.

In Adams House: Tatsuo Arima, Robert A. Hastings, Lawrence H. Johnson, Theodore N. Metropolous, Kenneth I. Shine, and John G. Wofford.

In Dudley: John S. Kolsti, Charles O. Chambers, Jr., Thomas F. Crowley, Harold L. Goldberg, and Thomas H. S. Lloyd.

In Dunster: Michael F. Butler, Walter H. Caulfield, Jr., Lawrence R. Fleisher, A. Ronald Grimm, and Grey Hodnett.

In Eliot: Glen W. Bowersock, H. Chouteau Dyer, John W. Lapsley, John D. Loeser, Charlton MacVeagh, Charles P. Sifton, Peter N. Stearns, and David W. Terris.

In Kirkland: John Appleton, Alvin David Bos, Harry L. Griffin, and Robert W. Scrivner.

In Leverett: Robert D. Canty, Howard B. Corning, Richard B. Merlo, Terrence J. O'Malley, John A. Simourian, and Hrand J. Topjain.

In Lowell: Stephen A. Aaron, Edward M. Abramson, David P. Bryden, John S. Gilbert, Bernard M. Gwertzman, James S. Harrison, John H. Poppy, John Ratte, and Craig F. Swoboda.

In Winthrop: James A. Bailey, Robert E. Barnett, Matthew W. Botsford, Jr., Peter K. Gunness, Benjamin H. Heckscher, and Ronald W. Tatum.

Vincent R. Larson '56, in announcing the Committee's choices, said that "the basis for selection was a noteworthy contribution of some type to the college life and community, based generally on some sort of outstanding individual achievements."
