Ruggers Play Tigers At Northampton High

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Crimson rugby team will be out to justify its new California-earned title of "Pride of the East" this afternoon, as it meets Princeton at 1 p.m. on the playing fields of Northampton High School.

The Crimson should edge past the Tigers and back onto the winning trail, as Ash Hallett will be the only member of today's squad who was not on the touring squad. Princeton has already beaten the New York Rugby Club, last year's Eastern Champions, while the Crimson whipped Montreal before dropping two straight to the Golden Bears.

Last May the Tigers ended a six-game Crimson winning streak amid sounds of Princeton Spring Weekend frivolity.
