Bloch, von Bekesy Named to Academy

Two University Faculty members are among the 30 scientists and teachers named yesterday to the National Academy of Science. Konrad E. Bloch, professor of Chemistry, and Georg von Bekesy, senior research fellow in Psychophysics, were elected to the research and advisory body.

At the same time, I.I. Rabi, professor of Physics at Columbia and last fall's Morris Loeb Lecturer, was named to the governing body of the Academy.
