Three ski teams combined with a group of graduate students, University and summer session alumni last Saturday to defeat a similarly motley Dartmouth squad, 635.6 to 749.2. The slalom run on Mt. Washington was the last skiing event of the season.
Of the three College members who competed, freshman Don Stephenson placed second with a course time of 30.4 seconds, while two sophomores on the squad, Hal Close and Toby Ross, were disqualified. The winning time of Dave Arnold '44 was 29.4 seconds.
The Indians captured the next five positions with five members of their present team. The eighth and ninth places were won by Crimson alumni Bill Apthorp and Albert Sise. A Yale student and summer school alumnus, Ned Baldwin, finished seventeenth.
