Three Crimson teams will compete for post-season honors this weekend as the squash, wrestling and fencing squads travel to intercollegiate tournaments.
Ben Hecksher, one of four Crimson squash players in the National Intercollegiate Squash Championship at Wesleyan, is seeded first in the tournament.
The undefeated squad, represented by Ben and Martin Hechsher, Pete Milton and Lee Folger, is expected to place fifth.
Ben Hecksher's strongest competition will come from M.I.T.'s Juan Hermosilla and William's Frank Stafford. Hecksher beat Harmosilla earlier in the season in his closest match, 3-2.
The Crimson wrestling team will participate in the fifty-second annual Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Tournament today at Lehigh University.
Out of eighteen colleges the Crimson is rated eleventh, just under Yale. When the two teams met last Saturday, Yale won 22 to 8, for their twenty-second consecutive victory over the Crimson. Princeton is rated fourth in the tournament, behind host-team Lehigh.
The Crimson fencers enter the Intercollegiate Tournament today in New York with a good chance of finishing in the top half.
The foil team led by Cliff Thompson, Hubert Hocutt, and Captain Steve Schneider could place in the finals if it performs in its mid-season form. Bill Pierskalla and the three foil fencers are considered to have the best chances for individual honors.
