Winthrop won the House swimming title last night as it defeated Adams 35-13 and Eliot 38-10. It thereby finished the season with a perfect record of seven wins and no losses.

In a contest that wasn't decided until the last event, Kirkland edged Leverett 27-21 to wind up the season in third place, with a 5 and 2 slate for the year. Both Kirkland and Leverett scored easy victories over the sixth place Lowell team, the former by a margin of 39-9 and the latter by a score of 40-8.

In the remaining meets which marked the close of the present season, Dunster clinched fourth place by defeating a weak Dudley team 36-12, while Eliot tied Adams for fifth place by beating the Gold Coasters 27-19.
