NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Paul H. Buck, Director of the University Library, underwent an operation Monday for a fracture of his left leg. He was injured when he slipped on the snow Saturday morning while trying to move a car into his garage at 9 Kirkland Place.

Buck was taken to Phillips House of Massachusetts General Hospital, where he is resting comfortably. The hospital reported last night that he was "doing very well" but was not able to predict how long he would be disabled by the accident.
