Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
As the wife of a Harvard alumnus ('26), the mother of a Harvard graduate ('55), the mother-in-law to be of a research student now at the Harvard Dental School for Medicine, and as dean of a girls' school, I deplore the lack of thoughtfulness shown by some Harvard students.
I protest the stealing (because it is stealing) of furniture and appointments from our premises. I deplore the fact that after being graciously entertained, Harvard men should forget their breeding and stoop to what they consider a prank, stealing lamps, mirrors, vases, and other appointments. I protest their lack of manliness in not returning such articles.
I have great respect for Harvard and all that it stands for. I know the above applies only to a very few, but because I am zealous to the reputation of all Harvard men, I hope the above can be corrected. Mildred L. Albert, Dean, Academie Modern
