Yardling Six Beats Boston College, 6-4

Behind 4-3 midway through the final period, the Yardling hockey team fought back with three quick goals to defeat Boston College 6 to 4 Saturday at the Boston Arena.

Captain George Higginbottom was the big gun for the freshmen as his hat trick proved to be the winning margin between the two teams. Dick Reilly, Dick McLaughlin, and Pete Kelley each contributed single goals. The victory brought the team's season record to 16 and 1.

The freshman wrestling team won one of its biggest matches of the year Saturday, as they defeated Brown 17 to 11 at the I.A.B. The same day, a strong University of Connecticut team beat the Yardling fencers here 16 to 11.
