Heavyweight Pete Morrison's last-minute pin pulled the Varsity wrestlers up from a one-point deficit to a 16 to 12 victory over Brown on Saturday at the I.A.B.
As was expected, Brown was especially strong in the lower weights. Tatsuo Arima opened the meet by pinning his man in the 123 lb. class, but the Bruins then swept the next four matches to lead 12 to 5.
The Crimson came back strongly as Bob Gilmor wrestled his usual smooth match and easily defeated his opponent in the 167 lb. class. At 177, Casper Cronk, set the stage for Morrison's pin by beating his man on points.
