The election of a Democratic Congress along with President Eisenhower seems to indicate that although the people "like Ike" they disapprove of his policies and of his political favorites, said V.O. Key, Jonathan Trumbull Professor of American History and Government, speaking at the Dunster House Political Forum, last night.

Key felt that the election returns suggest a growing instability of party lines, rather than a stable coalition of the parties themselves.
