Police have turned up a clue in the disappearance of Edward L. Gates, Jr. '56, the Winthrop House sophomore who was last seen on October 6.

A young man closely resembling Gates and identifying himself as a Harvard Student attended a psychical research lecture at the Sherry-Biltmore Tuesday, October 23.

Gates' father, Edward L. Gates, Sr., has asked that if any other student was the one who attended the lecture and spoke up after the meeting, the student contact him at LIberty 2-3700 to clear up the lead.
