Dr. James M. Landis, former dean of the Law School, received a Brandeis medallion in Washington yesterday as part of the Lous D. Brandeis centennial observance. Dr. Abram L. Sachar, president of Brandeis University, made the presentation.

Landis was Dean of the Law School from 1936 to 1947.
