Two former Crimson stars competing for the U.S. Amateur Hockey Team visited Watson Rink yesterday, just one week before the final cutting session of the U.S. sextet.
One, former varsity record-scorer Bill Cleary, a consistent visitor to varsity practice since his return from Germany three weeks ago, is reported to be one of the two leading forwards on the Amateur team, along with ex-Minnesota star John Mayasich.
The other spectator was Mario Celi, a defenseman from last year's Ivy Championship team. "It's going to be pretty close going on my chances now," Celi said yesterday.
