CRIMSON Announces Competition For Positions on All Four Boards

Interested, eager, or just plain curious upperclassmen, and women, are invited to 14 Plympton Street tomorrow evening, Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. for free advice, free beer, and information about the CRIMSON's fall term competition.

Those undergraduates with a nose for news or simply a desire to meet people while improving their writing, will probably enjoy competing for a position on the news board. A candidate competes only against CRIMSON standards, not against other students.

Those of a more meditative bent, who do not mind research, would benefit from the Editorial Board's competition. Movie reviewers, art and music critics, and, especially this year, government majors are in demand.

Photo Board

Photographers will find CRIMSON standards high, but the results pleasing. The photo board welcomes the student with a good eye and a steady hand. The Crime provides equipment and good advice.

With its budget of $100,000 a year, the CRIMSON always has a need for new members on its business staff. For a realistic and rewarding experience, the business board is best.

Crimed Intelligence

Those students who have heard rumors about what a CRIMSON competition does to marks should recall a survey taken last year by President Pusey which states that CRIMSON executives have the highest percentage on the Dean's list of any other undergraduate organization--53.8 per cent. In English alone, four Crimeds were graduated magna cum laude.

Radcliffe Bureau

The Radcliffe Bureau will welcome every interested young woman who wishes to work for any of the four boards. The Radcliffe competition is run in conjunction with the others, but a special allowance is made for curfews and social life.

The competition for freshmen will start after hour exams.
