With three minutes left to play, Dartmouth quarterback Dennis Goodman climaxed a 55-yard drive by plunging three yards for the only tally of the game as the Green edged the Yardling football team yesterday, 6 to 0.
Goodman set up the tally with a 35-yard end run down to the Crimson's 20. The Yardling line, which had charged well all day, collapsed as Dartmouth scored in three quick plays. Midway through the fourth period, the Crimson, on runs by Ted Marmor and passes from Alby Cullen to Harold Keohane, drove to the Dartmouth seven before a fumble gave the ball to the Green.
In the first half, the Crimson dominated play as Chet Boulris, Cullen and Marmor were all consistent ground gainers.
