Clearly elated, but not visibly overconfident after its smashing 32 to 7 upset victory over Cornell, the varsity football team ran through a low-pressure practice session on Soldiers Field yesterday.

The "A" unit, which doesn't usually scrimmage on Mondays anyway, ran through signal drills and plays. Due perhaps to the unseasonal heat and humidity, or possibly because of the squad's fine showing at Ithaca, both the "B" and "C" elevens were likewise excused from heavy contact work.

At a meeting prior to the workout, the entire squad viewed movies of the Cornell game's first quarter, with the ensuing episodes to follow through the rest of the week.
