Harvard varsity and freshman sailing teams won two meets and placed fourth in another over the weekend. Hanson Robbins of Harvard was high point man in the Oberg Trophy regatta held at Tufts Friday.
Of the other two Crimson skippers, William Owens was disqualified in three of his six starts, while John Deknatel finished second in his division.
At New London on Saturday, the varsity scored a decisive victory in the four-team preliminary competition for the Fowle Trophy. Harvard skippers Robbins, Tommy Townsend, John Weske, and George Cronin. The Freshman sailors tied Bowdoin for first place in the qualifying heats of the New England I.S.A. freshman championships, in the Charles Basin Saturday.
