Enrollment in the Summer School may increase by as much as five or ten percent over last year, if a recent trend in advance registration continues, according to the Summer School Office.
Through last week, 415 students from the College and Radcliffe have applied for the summer session, compared to 373 who had enrolled for the 1954 term by this time last May.
Applications from outside the University are also increasing this year, following the return of many Korean veterans to school, an official stated.
Even when complete, however, the figures for advance registration may not necessarily indicate a gain in the total number of students from the College and Radcliffe who will attend the Summer School. Of the 900 regular students who entered the School last year, only 600 registered in advance. The others enrolled at the beginning of the session.
