The Lowell House Musical Society last night announced it would hold over through Monday its current production of "The Threepenny Opera" in hopes of raising money to commission an original opera from a well-known American composer for next year. Ticket demands, resulting in virtual sell-outs last night and tonight, led to the decision. The opera will also be given on Sunday.
