Four Woodrow Wilson Fellowships for one year's graduate study and one Marshall Scholarship for advanced study in Great Britain were recently awarded to five seniors.
The fellowship winners were: Roger D. Masters, of Eliot House and Newton, government; Richard N. Ringler, of Lowell House and Elm Grove, Wis., English; Jonathan Steinberg of Eliot House and New York City, economics; Christian G. Wolff, of Lowell House and New York City, comparative literature.
The scholars were four of a record-breaking 159 successful candidates picked from 1,522 nominees.
Stephan W. Booth, of Kirkland House and Falls Church, Va., winner of the Marshall Scholarship, will study English at Trinity College, Cambridge University.
