'TIRED' LACROSSE TEAM

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Your lacrosse team, playing five major games in six days, has undertaken a task which is fool-hardy. Tired athletes in any contact sport are subject to injury.

I saw your team play Johns Hopkins on Wednesday, April 6, in Baltimore, and I'll say that they tried but they were too tired to properly represent Harvard University on the athletic field.

In Maryland even the major lacrosse teams can't stand more than two such games a week. I would suggest a less arduous program for next year and I certainly hope in the meanwhile, that one of your boys is not seriously injured. G. Maxwell Armor, Jr.
