The varsity ski team finished eighth out of ten in the Middlebury Carnival and Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships held at Middlebury, Vt., on Friday and Saturday. This placement in the tournament pushed the team out of the senior division of the EISA.
Sandy Whitelaw turned in the best performance for the team, coming in tenth out of 40 skiers in the slalom and down-hill-slalom. Peter Churchill also turned in a good record, averaging 20th in all four events.
Middlebury College won the meet with a team standing of 570.21. The varsity finished with 474.78 points.
