The freshman basketball team, sparked by Dick Woolston and Jack Connolly, defeated Nichols Junior College, 76 to 61, at Dudley, Mass., last night. Woolston's 17 points made him high scorer for the third straight game, and Connolly added 13 more, all in the second half.
The victory was the third in four games since exams and it brought their overall record up to four and six. The Yardlings led, 33 to 30, at half-time and the game was close until they pulled away in the last seven minutes. The next freshman game will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, when the team meets Andover at the I.A.B.
